6. Network Connection
The HDBaseT/POE port which is located on the rear panel of the PTC-305T
allows you to connect to the camera in static IP mode or DHCP mode by the
HBT-16. To access and modify these network settings, you will need to login to
the camera’s web interface.
If this is your first time using the device, please note that the camera’s default
IP address is 192.168.100.100.
Set up direct connection between the camera and your PC/laptop through an
HBT-16 as depicted in the diagram below; remember to manually assign an IP
address of 192.168.100.X to your PC/laptop.
On your PC/laptop, open a web browser and in the address bar, enter the
camera’s default IP address, 192.168.100.100 then press the ENTER key which
should take you to login page of the web interface.
