The TEST/START and TEACH-IN push-buttons must be located

in such a way that the operator can check the protected area
during any Test, Override and Reset operation.

(see section 6

“Functioning mode”).



The EDM wire has to be connected, before powering, to a 24

Vdc normally closed contact. The control function, if selected,
will not be activated, at device powering, if the wire is not
correctly connected. In this case the safety light curtain enters in
an error status.



The TEACH-IN wire, where available, can be connected to a 24

Vdc normally open contact (as per the TEST/START push-
button). Carefully check that the push-button is not pressed at
powering (and in any case the wire must not be connected to 24
Vdc); otherwise the light curtain enters in an error status.



The device is equipped with overvoltage and overcurrent
protection. The use of other external devices is allows but not
recommended.
