Port
This parameter allows selecting the serial post type used to communicate with the position
sensor (i.e. COM3).
Offset (mm)
This parameter allows setting the sensor offset value, that is the difference between the
position sensor value and the real value (i.e. package height). For example, when the height
barriers are used as position sensor, if the package height value indicated in the procedure
DTest\Sensor\Position Sensor does not correspond to the real height of the package, the
offset value must be adjusted.
Input Filter
This parameter enables the bad character filter on the position sensor input.
Position Sensor Angle (deg)
This parameter allows indicating the reading angle of the position sensor. If the sensor is
perpendicular to the conveyor moving direction, the value must be set to "0".
TRIGGER SOURCE
In this section the settings relative to the trigger source are stored. Visible only in D/Power
Pass Through, Single Camera, Master Camera, Slave Camera operating modes.
Trigger Source
This parameter allows selecting the trigger source. If the trigger is directly connected to the
camera through the serial cable, select "Camera".
If the information from the trigger sensor to the camera comes through the PC Decoder,
select "Decoder". (see Master-Slave configuration, par. 2.6.3).
Type
This parameter allows selecting the trigger sensor type (Height Sensor, Distance sensor or
Presence Sensor).
SPEED SENSOR
In this section the settings relative to the speed sensor (encoder) are stored. Visible only in
Single Camera and Master Camera operating modes.
NOTE
For multi-sided applications the Sensors section may not be present on
the DV9500 Camera but on the DC9500 Controller.
Speed Sensor Input
This parameter allows selecting the speed sensor input. If the speed sensor is directly
connected to the camera through the serial cable, select "Camera".
If the information from the speed sensor to the camera comes through the PC Decoder,
select "Decoder". (see Master-Slave configuration, par. 2.6.3).
Enable
Select this parameter to enable the speed sensor (encoder). If the speed sensor is not
available or a constant speed is required, it is possible to disable the sensor and to set a
fixed reading speed (see "Max/Default Speed (mm/s) in this section.
