2
Antenna input to connect the ‘hot’ pole of the antenna to terminal 1
and the shield to terminal 2
13
14
Permanent output power to photocells. Attention! Use only with
feature PHOTOTEST disabled DIP6 = OFF otherwise the barrier
won’t work and the blinker lights up steadily. 14+/13- (max 150mA)
3
5
OPEN Input. It activates feature to operate just with loop detactor or
timer (as long as the contact remain closes, the barrier stays open.
When contact reopens, the barrier closes after the time set on TCA).
15
13
Output for additional accessories 24Vdc 13-/15+ (max. 500mA)
4
5
START input. It opens the barrier when it is closed, it stops the barrier
while opening (if DIP2 = OFF), it closes the barrier when it is open, and
reopen during closing.
15
16
Flashing light output: intermittent output 24Vd DC max 10W
5
6
STOP Input. If activated it stops every movement.
15
17
SPIA Output DIP5 = OFF, fast flashing light during closing, slow flashing
during opening, continuous light when barrier is open, flasher switched
off when barrier is closed
7
9
PHOTO input with DIP3 = OFF barrier reverses movement during
closing and during opening it is ignored. With DIP3 = ON after
photocells are disengaged, barrier closes after 3 sec. without
considering time set on TCA.
15
17
Traffic light output DIP5 = ON light on when barrier is completely
open (24 Vac Max 10W)
8
9
SAFETY EDGE Input (COSTA). It works only during opening; it stops the
barrier and closes for 1 sec.
18
19
Backup battery input 18-/19+ (with no. 2 batteries 12V-2,2AH
barrier opens at least 100 times)
9
10
Input for closing limit switch. N.C. contact
T1
T2
Motor output 24 Vdc.

11
Input for opening limit switch. N.C. contact
J1
ENCODER connector
12
13
Output for photocells. Powered only during movement of the barrier.
Useful for energy saving while barrier is still and mandatory in order
to use feature PHOTOTEST DIP6=ON. (max 150mA)
J2
Connector for secondary input of the transformer 24 Vac
6 • PROGRAMMING
It must be carried out after installing all safety devices, in order to reduce risk of injury.
Preliminary checks:
• Connect control panel to the electricity mains.
• Check that all LEDs are switched off (except DL10). If photocells are powered through output 12-13 LED DL7, must be switched on.
• Select throughout Dip4 the type of feature you are using (PUNTO6 or PUNTO4 have both electric limit switches and encoder); so set dip4 in OFF (standard)
barrier works both with limit switches and encoder, set dip4 in ON it works ONLY with limit switches (old Punto 24).
STANDARD programming with barrier using both limit switches and encoder (dip4 OFF); suitable for Punto 4 - Punto 6.
SET PLASTIC CAMS IN THE WAY THEY TRIGGER THE SWITCHES BEFORE THE LEVER HITS THE MECHNICAL STOPPERS, BOTH IN OPENING AND CLOSING.
IMPORTANT: close the barrier (boom horizontal position and limit switches on closing engaged), led DL10 must be ON.
1. Hold button
PRGM
down until led
DL2
begins flashing and then remains steady.
2. Give a
1° START
command (or remote control command previously stored as in the instructions), the barrier opens.
3. While opening is almost completed, give a
2° START
command, to set slowing down position in opening. The barrier will continue the travel until the opening
mechanical stopper is hit and the led
DL2
turns off. After 3 seconds the barrier closes automatically.
4. While closing is almost completed, give a
3° START
command to set slowing down position in closing. The barrier will continue the travel until the closing
mechanical stopper sis hit.
5. Programming is over now.
IMPORTANT
: slowing down position both in opening and closing is set when you press the
START
button and NOT when limit switches are triggered.
If within 10 seconds from point 2 the sequence of programming has not started, led
DL2
turns off and the procedure is terminated automatically.
During programming procedure any
STOP
command or photocell intervention will cause the termination of programming procedure (The barrier stops, the led
DL2
turns off and program is cancelled).
It is mandatory to follow strictly the sequence described above.
