Check cutting knife for sharpness, cracks and breakouts;
resharpen or replace the knife.
Coating: To be checked (only TMC cutting knife).

Safety equipment
Knife protection: To be checked for function Press the
knife protection on the outside edges towards the motor
with both thumbs wearing cutting protection gloves. There
must be a significant resistance.

Warning signs on machine: Check legibility (see "Warning
signs on the machine" in Section 2).

Motor break: To be checked for function and readjust, if
required (see "Motor brake readjustment", Section 6) .

The replacement of wear parts must be recorded in the mainte-
nance log!
