7 Troubleshooting

Machine does not skive Power switch is OFF Activate the power switch
Voltage incorrect Check voltage supply
Power plug defective Check power plug and replace,
if required
Incorrect rotation direction of
electric motor Check rotation direction, cor-
rect electrical connection
Foot pedal not connected to
socket Check cable connection be-
tween foot pedal and machine.
Foot pedal is defective Check the foot pedal and re-
place it, if required
Machine operates sluggishly Skiving knives are worn Check skiving knives for wear
and replace them, if required
