7 Advanced configuration
Warning: Do not attempt to enable this functional unless you are familiar with IP networks.
7.1 Configuration of access to external data networks
Ethernet port 3 on the DPU may be used to access a local area IP network on the vessel. Ethernet
port 4 may be used to access a general purpose IP network on the vessel.
Note that access to a default gateway is restricted to one external network.
Configuration of Static IP address:
Select “Static ip” in the drop-down and configure the “Address” and “Subnet mask”.
Sub-network 192.168.203.x, 192.168.156.x is used internally by the ECDIS and cannot be used as
external networks.
