Line Trigger Function Group
The Line Trigger Control section d escribes all featu res related to line acqu isition u sing trigger(s). One
or m any Trigger(s) can be u sed to control the start of an Acqu isition, of a Line. It can also be u sed to
control the exp osu re d u ration at the beginning of a line.
Parameter Description
Line Trigger Mod e The state of the line trigger. If the trigger is off, then the line
trigger is internally generated otherw ise it is cau sed by an
external signal
Line Trigger Sou rce The external line that cau ses a line trigger.The line trigger is from
GPIO_PIN 0. This featu re is available only w hen Line Trigger
Mod e in set to On.
Line Trigger Activation Sp ecifies w hat typ e of signal(i.e. high, or low ) cau ses a line trigger
if Line Trigger Mod e is On.
External Line Trigger Frequ ency Read s the external line trigger frequ ency. N OTE: The cam era
cannot d etect frequ ency less than 5 H z and w ill d isp lay 1 if it
cannot d etect a signal. This featu er is available w hen the Line
Trigger Mod e is se to ON and Sensor Direction Control is set to

Read External Line Frequ ency Read the external line trigger frequ ency and u p d ates the
ExternalLineTriggerFrequ ency register. This featu re is available
w hen the Line Trigger Mod e is set to On.
Input / Output Control
CamExpert groups the camera I / O Controls Parameters in either the Inputs group or the Outputs. These parameters
allow configuring the Spyder3 inputs and outputs for type of signal and signal polarity.

Parameter Description
Line Selector This featu re selects w hich p hysical line (or p in) of the external
d evice connector to configu re. When a Line is selected , all the
other Line featu res w ill be ap p lied to its associated I/ O control
block and w ill cond ition the resu lting inp u t or ou tp u t signal.
Line0-- Line Trigger, Line1-- Fram e Trigger, Line2 -- Direction. If
rotary encod er is u sed , Line0 -- Phase A , Line2 -- Ph ase B
Line Form at This featu re retu rns or sets (if p ossible) the cu rrent electrical
form at of the selected p hysical inp u t Line: N o connect, TTL, LVDS
