VIP-5000 Series System Login

To log in to the VIP, follow the steps below:
1.  Navigate to 

http://<IPaddress>:<Port>

. The port is 

typically 

85

.

2.  Type 

Dak

 in the 

User name

 text box and the 

appropriate password in the 

Password

 text box. 

Refer to

Note: 

By default, the login user name is 

Dak

 and common to all operators. The VIP 

is configured with the password 

DakPassword!

, which should be changed 

after initial configuration.

3.  Click 

OK

 to complete the login process.

Dashboard

After logging into the VIP the first time, an initial screen opens showing status tiles for 

various aspects of the device. This initial interface screen is called the 

Dashboard

. For a 

general overview of the system interface, refer to 

Interface Elements (p. 8)

. For details 

on the dashboard, refer to 

Section 4: Dashboard (p. 11)

.

Click 

Show Menu

 

 in the upper-left corner of the screen to expand the left-side 

menu. The left-side menu links are listed in 

Left-Side Menu (p. 10)
