If this take a long time to recharge, clean the terminals of
the touchpad cable and test again.
Tip: Plug touchpad cable directly into the voltmeter or use
an additional dual banana to test while plugged into the
deck connection.
Relay Take-off
Platform
o
Visually inspect the sides, back and front for cracks and/or breaks.
o
Visually inspect the gray electronics box for cracks.
o
Visually inspect the cable strain reliefs, ensuring they are secure and not
broken, loose, or missing.
o
Visually inspect the RTOP cart for any damage.
o
Testing:
1.
Ensure a new battery (if possible) is installed in the electronics box.
2.
Verify the red LED on the electronics box is flashing.
*The RTOP must be plugged into the lane harness and the OmniSport
connected and setup in Swimming mode.
3.
Place your hand flat on the RTOP and hold for two seconds.
4.
Remove you hand quickly, and the red LED will turn solid for ~1
second then return back to a flashing/ready state.
5.
The RTOP time should also be able to be captured on the OmniSport
printout as long as settings/event are configured correctly.

Pro Swimming
o
Verify software is up to date. *Verify version entitlement; Contact Daktronics
Help Desk if questions arise.
o
Verify software opens correctly without errors.
o
If customer has an Ethernet OmniSport it can communicate via network, or
connect (USB/Serial adapter) to Pro Swim laptop and install driver (if
needed).
o
Connect standard Ethernet cable from Pro Swim laptop directly to Ethernet
Omni or a network router/switch.
o
If serial, connect cable from J4 EXPANSION PORT on the OmniSport 2000
to the serial cable/adapter on the Pro Swim computer.
o
Verify communication between devices. *May need to change com port
value in Pro Swim, or set to UDP.
