Testing:
1.
Verify deck plate connections are received into the
OmniSport 2000.
2.
Connect the OmniSport 2000 and all cabling to the proper wall plate
in order to receive touchpad and button data.
3.
Turn on the OmniSport 2000 and enter swimming mode.
4.
The OmniSport should show
( - )
marks across the LCD for the proper
number of lanes.
5.
Press
MENU > 5 > 2
to go into the testing mode.
6.
Test each deck plate by placing a push button into each
touchpad/button connection and pressing the button.
TP, B1, B2, B3
will display on the OmniSport 2000 LCD if working correctly.
Horn Start
o
Visually inspect horn start and microphone. (indicators, switches, knobs,
cabling, and connections).
o
Testing:
1.
Test for charger functionality by connecting to the
HS-200. Charging LED should light when plugged in.
2.
Ensure microphone is connected to the horn start assembly. Wireless
models, ensure belt pack has a new battery, and matches the wireless
channel set on the HS-200 base assembly, and has the antenna
mounted on the base unit.
3.
Set volume controls to desired levels (not min or max) and power up
the HS-200 unit.
4.
When the
ON-READY LED
is on, press the PUSH TO TALK lever
while speaking to ensure audible, then while holding this press small
button on top of the mic at the same time. This will trigger a tone and
a strobe from the HS-200 assembly, while starting the clock on the
OmniSport.
A dual banana (start cable) will need to be ran between
the HS-200 and the OmniSport start circuit to initiate the
start. *OmniSport 2000 Start Input settings much match
connection at the HS-200 (N.O. vs. N.C.).
Lane and/or Aux speakers must be connected to test
each remote speaker/location.
