2. Troubleshooting with LED
2.1 Indoor Unit
Operation Lamp The operation lamp blinks when any of the following errors is detected.
1. When a protection device of the indoor or outdoor unit is activated, or when the thermistor
malfunctions.
2. When a signal transmission error occurs between the indoor and outdoor units.
In either case, conduct the diagnostic procedure described in the following pages.
Service Monitor The indoor unit has a green LED (LED A) on the control PCB. When the microcomputer works
in order, the LED A blinks. (Refer to page 19 for the location of LED A.)
2.2 Outdoor Unit
The outdoor unit has a green LED (LED A) on the PCB. When the microcomputer works in
order, the LED A blinks. (Refer to page 21, 23, 25, 27 for the location of LED A.)
