Checking procedures
INFORMATION
It is recommended to perform the checks in the listed order.
To perform a mechanical check of the propeller fan blade assembly
Prerequisite:
Stop the unit operation via the user interface.
Prerequisite:
Turn OFF the respective circuit breaker.
Prerequisite:
Remove the required plate work, see

If propeller fan blade touches the bellmounth, check if the fan motor is
correctly mounted on its base, see

Check the state of the propeller fan blade assembly for damage, deformations
and cracks.
Is the propeller fan blade assembly
damaged?

Yes
Replace the propeller fan blade

Perform a mechanical check of the DC
fan motor assembly, see

Prerequisite:
First perform a mechanical check of the propeller fan blade

Visually check:

For any burnt‑out part or wire. If found, replace the fan motor, see

That fan motor fixation bolts are correctly installed and fixed. Correct as
needed.

Manually rotate the fan motor shaft. Check that it rotates smoothly.

Check the friction of the DC fan motor shaft bearing.
