Be sure that the air inlet of the unit is not positioned towards the main wind direction. Frontal wind will disturb
the operation of the unit. If necessary, use a screen to block the wind.

Ensure that water cannot cause any damage to the location by adding water drains to the foundation and
prevent water traps in the construction.
Seaside installation. Make sure the outdoor unit is NOT directly exposed to sea winds. This is to prevent corrosion caused
by high levels of salt in the air, which might shorten the life of the unit.
Example: Behind the building (case I).
If the outdoor unit is exposed to direct sea winds, install a Windbreaker (case II).

Mind the service space requirements when installing the windbreaker.

When operating the unit in a low outdoor ambient temperature, be sure to follow the instructions
described below.
To prevent exposure to wind and snow, install a baffle plate on the air side of the outdoor unit: in heavy snowfall areas it
is very important to select an installation site where the snow will NOT affect the unit. If lateral snowfall is possible, make
sure that the heat exchanger coil is NOT affected by the snow. If necessary, install a snow cover or shed and a pedestal.
For instructions on how to install the snow cover, contact your dealer.
When installing the snow cover, do NOT obstruct the air flow of the unit.

4.7. Preparing Refrigerant Piping
The refrigerant R32 requires strict cautions for keeping the system clean, dry and tight.

Clean and dry: foreign materials (including mineral oils or moisture) should be prevented from
getting mixed into the system.

Tight: R32 does not contain any chlorine, does not destroy the ozone layer, and does not reduce
earth
