Control and pump unit for solar systems
4PW56033-1
The causes may include:
– a fault in the FlowSensors or
– vapour formation in the solar circuit or
– a leak in the solar panel circuit.
• If a leak is suspected, inspect the solar system, repair damage and then disable the block by switching the control system
off and on.
3.
The fault signal "F" is shown in the left column of the solar control system display. It follows three "W" fault signals with
2 h block time each. The system is now completely blocked and can only be restarted by user intervention. The causes may
include:
– a fault in the FlowSensors or
– vapour formation in the solar circuit or
– a leak in the solar panel circuit.
• If a leak is suspected, inspect the solar system, repair damage and then disable the block by switching the control system
off and on.
4.
If circulation cannot be generation in the tank or solar panel circuit, it may be caused by the following faults:
a)
Air in the pump of the affected circuit.
• Check the pump for air.
• Check system pressure and, if necessary, top up heating water or solar fluid.
b)
Check system for tightness
• Check system for tightness and seal if necessary. In doing so, observe the instructions in Chapter 4 "Inbetriebnahme und
• Check the safety valve of the affected circuit for leaks.
c)
Increase the capacity of the pumps at the selector switch (1, 2, 3) for the individual pump.
5.
If the display is without display and the main switch is in the illuminated "ON position":
• Replace the solar control system (electronic fault).
6.
If the main switch is not lit up in the "ON position" there is no power supply to the unit.
• Check the plug connection of the mains plug and the domestic power supply (fuse, switch).
Special instructions for electrical sensors
• Evaluate the display of the solar control system EKSR3PA.
• Remove casing of control unit and remove and disconnect the relevant sensors.
• Check the contact points of the sensor in question, if necessary measure the resistance (or the DC voltage for feed temper-
ature and flow rate sensors) on the sensor side.
If the fault has been rectified the system automatically switches to normal operation and will be in the operating mode.
The resistance or DC voltage measurements of the sensors are listed in Fig 7-2. Diagnosable internal faults of the control
electronics are shown in the display according to Tab. 6-1 (status G). They also effect a safety switch-off of the pumps.
Switching off and on again after waiting for 2 min will either correct the fault or the solar control system must be replaced.
Use only original DAIKIN spare parts.
