Removal and installation

INTERNAL CAB COMPONENTS

4.21 REMOVAL AND INSTALLATION, DOOR LOCKING MECHANISM

Removing door locking mechanism

Remove the door panel.

Remove the foil (A) from the inside of the
door.

Remove the attachment screws (1), if
applicable. Disconnect the central door
locking by unhooking it from the control rod.

Remove the attachment bolt (2) and remove
the window guide from the door.

Remove the attachment bolts (3) of the lock
plate (4) and remove the lock plate.

Remove the attachment bolts (5 and 6) from
the unlocking handle.

Remove the door handle.

Remove the door lock (7) completely with
control rods through the opening on the
inside of the door.

Installing door locking mechanism

Check the length of the control rods and
adjust them, if necessary. See “Technical
data”.

Fit the door lock completely with control
rods through the opening on the inside of
the door.

Fit the door handle.

Fit the unlocking handle.

Fit the lock plate and tighten the attachment
bolts to the specified tightening torque,
see“Technical data”.
