Removal and installation

4.8 REMOVAL AND INSTALLATION, EXTERIOR MIRRORS

Model without integrated bracket

Removing the main exterior mirror

Remove the cover at the back of the
exterior mirror.

Unplug the connector of the exterior mirror
adjustment and/or exterior mirror heating.

Remove the clamp bolts (1) and remove the
mirror from the bracket.

Installing the main exterior mirror

Fit the exterior mirror to the bracket and fit
the clamp bolts. Do not yet tighten the
clamp bolts.

Fit the connector of the exterior mirror
adjustment and/or exterior mirror heating.

Adjust the mirror height and angle, see
chapter ”Inspection and adjustment”.

Tighten the clamp bolts.

Fit the cover (push into place).

Removing the wide-angle exterior mirror

Remove the cover at the back of the
exterior mirror.

Unplug the connector of the exterior mirror
heating.

Remove the clamp bolts (1) and remove the
mirror from the bracket.
