Removal and installation

EXTERNAL CAB COMPONENTS

Pre-treating the plastic window when
re-using the window

1.

Clean the area to be glued with a clean,
non-pilling cloth moistened with the
specified cleaning agent, see ”Technical
data”.

2.

Then lightly sand the area to be glued with
the specified abrasive, see “Technical data”.

3.

Clean the area to be glued once again with
a clean, non-pilling cloth moistened with the
specified cleaning agent, see ”Technical
data”. Allow the cleaned surface to dry for at
least 10 minutes at room temperature.

4.

Make sure the area to be glued is entirely
free from abrasives and other impurities (if
necessary, re-clean the area with the
specified cleaning agent, see ”Technical
data”).

5.

Use a brush to apply a single thin, covering
layer of the specified primer , in accordance
with the supplier’s instructions. Allow this
layer to dry for at least 30 minutes but no
more than 24 hours at room temperature.
