Data deletion

This function allows only recordings of preassigned date to be viewed.
For example, if playback block is set at 3 days, then DVR will only save data for 3 days and will
delete data more than 3 days old even if auto-deletion isn’t on.
Once deleted, it can’t be restored so please be extra careful.

NS04R Group

Image can be recorded on NS04R located in same network(local network) of DVR.

(1)

Enable NS04R group in DVR [menu – system – disk] then
select to-be used group. (ex group ID : 90).

(2)

Select group of NS04R same as that of DVR’s using first
rotary switch located in rear of NS04R. (ex rotary switch 91).

(3)

Select group of NS04R same as that of DVR’s using second
rotary switch located in rear of NS04R. (ex rotary switch 92).

(4)

Connect DVR and NS04R with hub supporting gigabit using
Gigabit Ethernet Cable.

(5)

Run disk manager of DVR [menu – system – disk] then
select NS04R to enable HDD of NS04R.

<Note>

1)

Network cable used for connection with DVR must be Gigabit Ethernet Cable (Category-6).
Otherwise read/write performance are declined so in case of data usage is full, some images could
not be recorded properly.

1)

Hub must be Gigabit HUB.

2)

The max data size from single unit of NS04R is Writing 100Mbps, Reading 100Mbps. Please discuss
with network manager before connection over network.

3)

It could take around 1 min till NS04R and DVR are connected after power on.

4)

DVR supports connection with NS04R having same group ID with DVR.

5)

4 x front LEDs will be ON in order then all 4 x LEDs are ON(or OFF, blinking) at the sametime. After
that HDD’s list of NS04R can be verified in DVR Disk Manager.

6)

NS04R connection to DVR using single port requires DVR’s firmware over v7.8, NS04R over v2.0. This
feature is not supported under DVR’s firmware v7.8, NS04R v2.0.
NS04R connection via single port feature could be various based on DVR model so please contact
manufacturer’s technical center or local dealer for more inquiries.
