INSPECTIONS / ADJUSTMENTS

FUEL LINE (FUEL TUBE)

Check the fuel tube for deterioration, damage or
leakage. Replace it if necessary.

THROTTLE GRIP OPERATION

Check if the throttle grip operates smoothly in all
steering positions.
If not operating smoothly, check the deterioration,
damage and kink of the throttle cable.
Measure the free play at the throttle grip.

FREE PLAY : 2~6mm

Throttle grip free play can be adjusted at either end of
the throttle cable.

Minor adjustment are made with the upper adjuster.
Adjust the free play by loosening the lock nut and
turning the adjuster.

Major adjustments are made with the lower adjuster.
Adjust the free play by loosening the lock nut and
turning the adjuster.
After adjustment, tighten the lock nut securely.
Recheck the throttle operation.
Replace any damaged parts, if necessary.
