Installation Instructions
Rack and Pan Placement
1. Place the burner heads as shown. The locater tab on
the head goes in the keyed hole as shown.
2. Put the burner rings on the heads as shown. Match
the tabs on the bottom of the ring to the slots on the
head. Wiggle each ring to ensure it is properly seated.
3. Put the burner caps on the burner rings. The ridge
around the bottom edge of the cap fits around the top
of the ring.
Verifying Burner Function
After the cooktop is fully installed and plugged in, make sure all burners work properly.
1. Push-turn a burner knob to the flame symbol. (A
“clicking” sound means the electronic ignition system
is functional. The burner ignites about 4 seconds later,
after air is purged from the line.)
2. After ignition, turn the knob to a setting.(The “clicking”
stops; flame height lowers as you turn the knob coun-
terclockwise.)
3. Perform this procedure for each burner.
