Stainless steel surfaces
1.
Wipe spills, spots, and grease stains with a soft, wet cloth.
2.
Apply an approved stainless-steel cleanser to a cloth or paper towel.
3.
Clean one small area at a time. (For stainless steel, rub with the grain.)
4.
Dry the surface with a soft, dry cloth.
5.
Repeat Steps 2 - 4 as needed.
CAUTION
•
Do not use items (e.g., steel-wool, metal scraper, abrasive substances), which can mar
the steel and damage components.
•
Do not remove the rangetop surface to clean it. Gas lines leading to the burner
manifolds can be damaged, possibly causing a fire or malfunction.
•
Do not pour water into the rangetop. The water could enter the gas and electrical
systems, creating an electric shock hazard or high levels of carbon monoxide from
corroded gas valves/ports.
•
Do not spray cleanser into the manifold holes. The ignition system must remain dry.
