INSTALLING/CHANGING BATTERIES 

Transmitter Battery 

1.  Push down on the Battery Compartment cover where 

it is marked “PUSH” and slide it down in the direction 
of the marked arrow. 

2.  Remove the old battery if present. 
3.  Install new 9V battery with ‘-’ terminal 

on left and ‘+’ terminal on right. 

4.  Slide  the  Battery  Compartment  cover 

back into place until it clicks. 

 

Collar Battery 

1.  Use a thick coin to unscrew the Battery Compartment 

Cap from the Collar Receiver. 

2.  Remove the old battery if present. 
3.  Insert  new  6V  battery  into  the 

Battery  Compartment  with  the  ‘+’ 
end in first. 

4.  Screw the Battery Compartment Cap back into place 

with coin.  Be sure the cap is securely and properly in 
place.    If  the  cap  is  not  screwed  on  tight  enough  or 
improperly  aligned,  the  Collar  Receiver  may  not  be 
waterproof. 

NOTE 

A Lithium version of the 6V battery may last longer in your 
Collar  Receiver.    Lithium  batteries  are  designed  for  high-
drain electronics like your remote collar trainer.
