Description 

This command is used to configure the name for the Switch. 

 

Format 

config snmp system_name {<sw_name>} 

 

Parameters 

system_name

 - A maximum of 128 characters is allowed. And NULL string is accepted. 

<sw_name>

 - (Optional) Enter the system name used here. 

 

Restrictions 

Only Administrator and Operator-level users can issue this command. 

 

Example 

To configure the Switch name for “DGS-XXXXS Stackable Switch”:
