Backup any important data before you initialize a logical drive.

3.4.1 Create Disk Array

You can also use the Wizard to create a disk array with logical drives and
spare drives at the same time.

To create a disk array:

Disk Array

Click the

Create Disk Array

button.

In the Create Disk Array window, complete the required settings:

In the

Alias

field, enter an alias at a maximum of 32

characters (includes letters, numbers, space between
characters, and underline).

Select the

Enable Media Patrol

option to enable the function

on this disk array; otherwise, clear this option to disable.

option to enable the function on this

disk array; otherwise, clear this option to disable.
