Before You Install the NetDefend firewall

TCP/IP Settings

Note:

If you are connecting your NetDefend firewall to an

existing LAN, consult your network manager for the correct
configurations.

1. In the

Network

window, double-click the

TCP/IP

service for the Ethernet card,

which has been installed on your computer
(e.g.

The

TCP/IP Properties

window opens.

2. Click the

Gateway

tab, and remove any installed gateways.
