Section 2 - Setting Up With a Web Browser - Router Mode
Wireless Settings
Check the box to set the DIR-516 to Access Point Mode, and
uncheck the box to set the DIR-516 to Router Mode. For more
information, see “Operation Modes” on page 8.
Displays the currently selected wireless band. See page 5 for
how to change the wireless band.
Check the box to enable the wireless function. If you do
not want to use wireless, uncheck the box to disable all the
wireless functions.
Enter a wireless network name (or SSID) using up to 32
characters. The SSID is case-sensitive.
Select the mix of wireless clients you are using. For instance,
if you are using 802.11n clients only, select
802.11n.only

or if you are using 802.11ac and 802.11n clients, select

. The available options are
dependent on the currently selected wireless band.
Check the box to allow the DIR-516 to choose the channel
with the least amount of interference.
Indicates the channel setting for the DIR-516. The channel
can be changed to fit the channel setting for an existing
wireless network or to customize the wireless network. If
you checked
