IP Source Guard Commands

ip source guard adjust-priority state
This command is used to specify the adjust priority between IPSG and user-defined ACLs.
ip source guard adjust-priority state [highest | lowest]
no ip source guard adjust-priority
Parameters
highest
Specifies that user-defined ACLs cannot manage the traffic of the
specific host allowed by IPSG.
lowest
Specifies that user-defined ACLs can manage the traffic of the
specific host allowed by IPSG.
Default
By default, the
highest
option is used.
Command Mode
Global Configuration Mode.
Command Default Level
Level: 12.
Usage Guideline
When the adjust-priority is highest, user-defined ACLs cannot manage the traffic of the specific host
allowed by IPSG. When the adjust-priority is changed as lowest, user-defined ACLs can manage the
traffic of the specific host allowed by IPSG.
Example
This example shows how to specify the adjust priority as
lowest
.
Switch# configure terminal
Switch(config)# ip source guard adjust-priority state lowest

ip verify source vlan dhcp-snooping
This command is used to enable IP source guard for a port. Use the
no
form of this command to
disable IP source guard.
ip verify source vlan dhcp-snooping [ip-mac]
no ip verify source vlan dhcp-snooping [ip-mac]
Parameters
ip-mac
(Optional) Specifies to check both IP address and MAC address of
the received IP packets.
Default
By default, this option is disabled.
