Web-Based Network Management
When the switch receives packets destined for a BOOTP or
DHCP server, it forwards them to specific servers as defined in
the following configuration. The switch also forwards packets
from the BOOTP or DHCP servers to the appropriate subnets.
The first task is to set some parameters for the relay agent to
decide whether or not to forward a given BOOTP/DCHP packet.

BOOTP/DHCP Relay Status
Allows the BootP/DHCP
relay function to be
Enabled or Disabled.
BOOTP HOPS Count Limit
Allows the maximum
number of hops (routers)
that the BootP messages
can be relayed through to
be set. If a packet’s hop
count is more than the hop
count limit, the packet is
dropped. The range is
between 1 and 16 hops.
The default value is 4.
