Purpose

Used to display the current port security configuration.

Syntax

show port_security {ports <auth_portlist>}

Description

This command is used to display port security information of the
Switch’s ports. The information displayed includes port security,
admin state, maximum number of learning address and lock mode.

Parameters

<auth_portlist>



Specifies a port or range of ports to be viewed.

Restrictions None.

Example usage:

To display the port security configuration:

Purpose

Used to enable the trap log for port security.

Syntax

enable port_security trap_log

Description

This command, along with the

disable port_security trap_log,

will

enable the sending of log messages to the Switch’s log and SNMP
agent when the port security of the Switch has been triggered.

Parameters None.

Restrictions None.

Example usage:
