Example usage
To change the notification interval:

config lldp ports notification
Purpose
Used to configure each port for sending notifications to configured SNMP
trap receiver(s).
Syntax
config lldp ports [<portlist>|all] notification [enable | disable]
Description
Enable or disable each port for sending change notifications to
configured SNMP trap receiver(s) if an LLDP data change is detected in
an advertisement received on the port from an LLDP neighbor. The
definition of change includes new available information, information
timeout and information update.
And the changed type includes any data update /insert/remove.
Parameters
<portlist>
Specified a range of ports to be configured.
all
To set all ports in the system, you may use the “all” parameter.
notification
Enables or disables the SNMP trap notification of LLDP
data changes detected on advertisements received from neighbor
devices. The default notification state is disabled.
Restrictions
Only Administrator-level users can issue this command.
Example usage
To change the port SNMP notification state:
DES-3028P:4# config lldp ports 1-5 notification enable
Command: config lldp ports 1-5 notification enable
Success.

config lldp admin_status
Purpose
Used to configure per-port transmit and receive modes.
Syntax
config lldp ports [<portlist>|all] admin_status [tx_only | rx_only |
tx_and_rx | disable]
Description
These options enable the Switch to control which ports participate in
LLDP traffic and whether the participating ports allow LLDP traffic in only
one direction or in both directions.
Parameters
<portlist>
Specified a range of ports to be configured.
all
To set all ports in the system, you may use the “all” parameter.
admin_status
– To set the admin status.
tx_only
: Configure the specified port(s) to transmit LLDP packets, but
block inbound LLDP packets from neighbor devices.
rx_only
: Configure the specified port(s) to receive LLDP packets from
neighbors, but block outbound packets to neighbors.
tx_and_rx
: Configure the specified port(s) to both transmit and receive
