It is important to check the startup force of the gate before the motor is installed. Place the gate in the fully
closed position. Using a fishing scale, pull the gate open and check the kilogram force required to start the
gate rolling. This is the startup force.
At no stage while moving the gate must the reading exceed the force shown in the table below.
