LED Indicators
• D1 “RDY” (Green) should be on at all times when powered up.
• D2 “BUSY1” (Red) blinks if there.
• D3 “BUSY2” (Red) blinks if
• D8 (Red) RS485 Transmit to Comfort.
• D9 (Green) RS485 Receive from Comfort.
ICs
• U1 – Microcontroller IC. Label indicates the firmware version number
“UCM/C-Bus 5.xx”.
UCM ID Switch
The KT01 appears on the Comfort network as a UCM, not a Keypad.
Hence the ID should be set according to the number of UCMs. There is no
need to use another UCM to connect to KT01. as the interface is built in
to the KT01.
Comfort is able to support up to 8 UCMs / KeyTouch. SW2 is a set of 3
headers which is used to determine the ID, in accordance to the table
below:

By convention, UCM ID = 1 is used for uploading/downloading. The
KeyTouch UCM should be set to ID 2 or above so that any communication
failure can be reported by Comfort.
Press RESET (SW1) after changing the ID settings.
The number of UCMs in Comfigurator should be set to the highest UCM
number of the system including the KeyTouch UCM. This is the same as
programming
Location 1672 , according to the number of UCMs and
KT01 connected. Press reset on Comfort after changing the number of
UCMs.
