Getting Started
A default file has been loaded into the KeyTouch KT01 to help users in
using KT01 with Comfort for the first time. This default file can be found
in the CD provided under def_kt01.xml
On the main page, 5 buttons are displayed, namely Keypad, Control,
Security, Panic, and Tools. The date and time are also shown on the
screen for all pages will be updated upon any change in change in date
and time for Comfort and, similarly, for Comfort, any change in date and
time for KeyTouch will change the time for Comfort.
The Battery, Arm State, and Alarm State icons, as well as text indicators
for Tamper Alarm and AC Failure indicate the current status of Comfort. A
Low Battery condition will result in a change of the battery icon from
to . When Comfort is armed (be it Away, Night, Day or
Vacation), the lock symbol switches from to . In alarm
conditions, the Bell icon will then be changed from to . For
cases of Tamper alarm, the text “No Tamper” will indicate “TAMPER”
instead. Similarly, the “AC OK” text will become “AC Fail” when Comfort
