Adjust Dye Pump Output Pressure

Remove the Dye Filter Bypass tube

Install Pressure Gauge (#706-0212-000) into the left hand dye filter quick connect fitting.

Remove the “Acorn” nut located on the bottom of the dye pump.

Turn pressure check valve ~two turns counter clockwise.

Power on laser

Type <

from the “C:\” prompt (TESTALL mode).

Turn on dye pump, adjust pressure check valve so that gauge reads

55 to 60 PSI.

Shut off pump.

17.9

Reinstall the acorn nut; make certain that the o-ring in nut is properly seated.

Turn on Dye Pump; verify dye pump pressure still reads between

55 to 60

-PSI.

Remove gauge and reinstall bypass tube.

Test HVPS & Dump Circuit

Connect DVM red lead to TP1 on the cap bank PCB

Connect DVM black lead to TP2 on the cap bank PCB

Power on laser

from the “C:\” prompt (CV mode).

Select Nd:YAG.

Verify voltage charges to ~400 VDC in ~5 seconds.
