7.4 HORSESHOE (HS) MACHINE SETUP
Transport the machine using a truck to an appropriate location
where there is plenty of space around the machine. Service area:
Minimum of 1 m around the machine is needed for service. The
service places of the machine must be reachable by approved
person lift or similar, alternatively, the customer takes responsibility
that the machine’s service can be performed. NOTE! This will then
be determined at the time of procurement. Raise the machine at the
wooden joist (
Y
).
Make sure that the oor is at and clean before lowering the
machine from the truck.
Undo from the mast the brace (
X
) which binds the mast
to the chassis. To raise the mast, attach a lifting strap to
the lifting eye (
Z
) which is located on the top of the mast,
then raise the mast using a truck or other lifting gear.
Screw the mast to the mast foot (
[
) properly using the M8 screws
supplied with the machine.
The mast must be tted horizontally (use a spirit level). Remove the
brace from the board (
\
).
If the machine is tted with a top plate, see section 7.2, paragraph 7.
Fit the ramp (
]
) in the appropriate direction. Three different an-
gles are possible by moving the xing bolt at the edge of the board.
Contact Cyklop for assembly in a different location or moving to
another location.
Connect the machine to the mains. The plug must have a 16A fuse,
or 32 A for the single-phase version. When connecting the power,
the user must check the phase sequence to ensure that the motors
are rotating in the correct direction. If the motors are rotating in the
wrong direction, disconnect the machine and reverse the phases in
the glove. If a permanent power supply is installed, a main switch
must be tted at the connection point.

4. Cast the oor inside the frame. Be careful and make sure that
the same height as the earlier measured table height is reached
to ensure that the table will be in level with the surrounding
oor. If the levels differ to much unnecessary not only wear on
forklift wheels and table of the stretch wrapper will occur but
also strain on personnel that uses hand pallet trucks.
5. Remove the wooden beams after the casting has burnt.
6. Cast the surrounding area.
