Culligan Aquasential Select Plus & Select Series Iron-OX5 & Sulfur-OX3 Water Filters 01040683

NOTE!

Cullar S Catalytic Activated Carbon media must be soaked for 24-48 hours before being put into service.

In-plant prep is highly recommended.

Position the tank in the desired installation location.

Remove the inlet strainer by turning it

counter-clockwise.

Position the outlet manifold in the tank.

Cover the top of the manifold with a clean rag to prevent

filter media from entering the manifold during filling.

Using a large-mouth funnel, load the Culligan Cullsan

underbedding through the top of the tank. See

Table 2

Load the tank with Cullar S media.

Leveling is required. See

Table 2

Remove the funnel.

Using a hose, top off the tank with water to bring

the water level to within a few inches of the top

opening and add 2 ounces of 6% liquid chlorine

bleach to the tank for sanitization.

Install the inlet strainer making sure to thread the

strainer until it bottoms out on the tank thread.

Failure to install the strainer correctly can cause

the control to leak.

CAUTION!

Once the tank is full do not lay it down as

this will disrupt the filter media and result

in poor performance.

CAUTION!

DO NOT allow the outlet manifold

to move when loading the media.

The manifold must remain vertical

to ensure a good seal at the o-ring.
