8.4 Printing Using a Stand-alone Serial Printer

The UART port can also be used to transmit data to a stand-alone serial printer.

Stand-alone Serial Printer

The optional stand-alone printer is a serial printer configured to receive data using RS232 protocol.

The stand-alone printer set that comes with the Paramedic CU-ERT (optional) is composed of the
printer, UART cable, AC adapter, AC power cable, ECG printer paper. These are shown in the figure
below:
