7. Power Supply
The Paramedic CU-ERT can be powered by any of the following:
a.
External Disposable Battery Pack
b.
AC/DC Adapter
7.1 External Disposable Battery Pack
Description
The external disposable battery pack of the Paramedic CU-ERT is a LiMnO
2
battery pack. It is
nonrechargeable.
The battery pack has a capacity of 10 hours of continuous operation.

Connecting the Battery Pack
The battery pack is connected to the Paramedic CU-ERT through the AC/DC adapter port and the UART
Port. The connector of the battery pack is embedded with connectors that match the AC/DC and UART
Port connectors.
To connect the external battery pack, do the following:
a.
Plug in the connector of the external battery pack to the UART port and the AC/DC Adapter port
simultaneously. The UART port and AC/DC port connectors on the battery pack are integrated
into one connector.
It is recommended that the external battery pack should be disconnected when the Paramedic CU-ERT
is in storage.
