Multiple Overlapping Systems
Figure 2-4 illustrates multiple overlapping systems. The reason for using
this configuration is to create a system with greater user capacity. Up to
four systems can be configured in this way.
In this configuration, CTPhone handsets must be programmed with both
system IDs. (For information on system IDs, see Table 4-D on page 4-10.)
Handoff does not operate between base stations connected to different
CTPhone Controllers.
Coverage: 31,000 square meters (333,560 square feet) per base station
Maximum Number of Configured Users: 64
