OPERATIONAL FEATURES
The automatic chart projector with halogen lamp offers exceptionally clear images of even the smallest optotypes thanks to high-resolution
optics and quality optotypes. The optotypes are sealed in a hermetic chamber to guarantee the cleanest possible test projections and stabi-
lity over time.
The projector is controlled by an infrared remote unit in two modes, for selecting single tests with dedicated buttons or for programming
sequences of tests.
The step/step motors are controlled by a microprocessor card for fast passage from one test to the next (0.03 seconds). The high-quality
motors guarantee rapid, precise, vibration-free test presentation.
The halogen lamp switches off after 10 minutes of non-use (standby function).
CSO produces a wide range of projectors; below are presented some details of the different models, divided by category.
Variable-Contrast Chart Projector (CP 3000 and CP 3137)
These projectors permit varying contrast from 100% to 5% in linear progression with 10% steps to 10% and a final 5% step. This function
permits administering special tests like comparison of visual acuity at high and low contrast and contrast sensitivity tests. The two-disk, 37-
test CP 3000 projector features logMAR progression while the CP 3137 features decimal progression.
Dual-Disk Chart Projector, 30x enlargement (CP 2047 and CP 2147)
45-test projectors, red-green masking, polarized, horizontal-line, vertical-line, and single-letter tests. The CP 2047 projector features logMAR
progression while the CP 2147 features decimal progression. The projectors can be interfaced, through the RS232 serial port, with the most
common types of commercial computerized phoropters.
Single-Disk Chart Projector, 30x enlargement (CP 1042 and CP 1142)
42-test projector with no overlay filters or masks. The CP 1042 features logMAR progression while the CP 1142 features decimal progres-
sion. The projectors can be interfaced, through the RS232 serial port, with the most common types of commercial computerized phoropters.
Zoom Chart Projector (CP 2033)
33-test projector with red/green masks and polarized, horizontal- and vertical-line, and single letter tests. Progression according to Snellen
notation (20 ft).
