ALARMS
There are two types of alarms; fatal and non-fatal. When a fatal alarm occurs the machine
stops operation and begins a safety shutdown sequence. When a non-fatal alarm occurs the
machine will continue to process baskets but will not allow new baskets to be added. Both
fatal and non-fatal alarms will be displayed on the alarm screen. Fatal and non-fatal alarms
are discussed in more detail in the following pages.
The
ALARM
button can be selected from any of the system’s operator interface screens.
When an alarm is active and requires intervention the alarm message will be displayed on the
main screen. In addition to this an audible buzzer will sound, alerting the operator to the
presence of the alarm. To reset an alarm and to silence the buzzer, press the
ALARM
button.
This will silence the buzzer and reset any alarms no longer active.
