PROCESS PARAMETERS: OEM Settings
This screen is for setting up process and alarm temperatures in the OEM screens.
Temperature set points are entered in units of degrees F.
If the value does not change, the
minimum or maximum value may have been exceeded.
Each set point is used as follows:
OEM SCREEN
Boil Sump Temperature -
A reference set point used in the heat-up process. Since the boil
sump is always at atmospheric pressure, the solvent will boil at its standard boiling point
temperature. The level of contaminants in the boil sump, however, will increase the boil
temperature.
THIS SETTING SHOULD BE ADJUSTED BELOW (recommend approximately 5 degree’s)
THE CHEMICAL’S BOIL POINT TO ENSURE MACHINE OPERATION!
Boil Alarm Set Point - This value is the value used for alarm set point, it is set at 10 degree’s F
above the boil set point. This alarm indicates that the solvent in the boil is over contaminated
and needs to be replaced.
Vapor Up Temperature - This value is the temperature at which the vapor blanket has been
achieved.
NOTE: Changing solvent type will likely require the OEM Settings be adjusted.
