Power Supply
Faults are flagged when a power supply is activated. During a
Power Supply
Fault
, the corresponding PS1 or PS2 LED’s will blink at a slower rate. If both power
supplies experience a fault, both PS1 and PS2 LED’s will alternately blink. If only one of
the two PS LED’s is blinking, then this indicates a Power Supply Fault
. While the
corresponding PS LED is blinking, the Mute LED’s will indicate which fault triggered as
noted below:
CH1 Mute LED: PS1 Voltage Fault
CH2 Mute LED: PS1 Bias Voltage Fault
CH3 Mute LED: PS1 Breaker Tripped
CH4 Mute LED: PS1 DC Fault
CH5 Mute LED: PS2 Voltage Fault
CH6 Mute LED: PS2 Bias Voltage Fault
CH7 Mute LED: PS2 Breaker Tripped
CH8 Mute LED: PS2 DC Fault
Please note: When only one of the two PS LED’s is blinking, a
Power Supply Fault
occurred on that supply. When both PS LED’s are alterna
tely blinking, a
Power Supply
Fault
occurred on both supplies. When both PS1 and PS2 LED’s are blinking
simultaneously, a Device Fault occurred.
Channel Faults
are flagged when a channel is Active. During a
Channel Fault
, the
corresponding channels Fault LED will light, the channel will shutdown and not pass audio.
The channel will try to recover from the fault and activate automatically. The following
items are recognized as Channel Faults:
Over Current Fault
Full limiter attenuation
Thermal
Initialization
