HAULER OPERATING INSTRUCTIONS
1. Disconnect the two hydraulic hoses with quick disconnect couplings at the compactor (Packer end) and position them either
over the power unit cover or on an appropriate hanger (not provided) to help prevent damaging the connectors and possibly
contaminating the hydraulic system.
2. If applicable, disconnect the safety gate/hopper door interlock electrical cord from the outlet box located above the hydraulic
quick disconnect couplings on the compactor. Connect the cord to the blank outlet box to insure a rain-tight seal while the
compactor is being hauled. The blank outlet box is located on the power unit
3. Shut all loading doors and/or safety gates.
4. Ensure that compactor’s understructure matches that of the hauling vehicle.
5. Hook vehicle’s lifting cable or lifting hook securely on compactor understructure.
6. Pull compactor completely away from hoppers and chutes before lifting upward.
REMOVING SELF-CONTAINED COMPACTOR
RE-INSTALLING SELF-CONTAINED COMPACTOR
1. Align compactor with guide system and slowly let compactor return to position. Check for proper alignment of the hoppers.
Never allow or force compactor to roll past wheel stops.
2. Remove lifting device from understructure.
3. Reconnect the two hydraulic hoses with quick disconnect couplings at the compactor (Packer end) and if applicable, recon-
nect the electrical cord in the outlet box on the compactor.
4. Clear area around compactor.
