7. Canopy Assembly.

Remove preassembled canopy cover from bottom of
plastic canopy.
NOTE
: It may be necessary to use a screwdriver (not
included) to remove the canopy cover by tapping on the
canopy cover from the inside of the plastic canopy.
Locate 2 screws on underside of hanging bracket and
remove screw closest to the open end of the hanging
bracket. Partially loosen the other screw. Align slotted
holes in canopy and plastic canopy. Lift canopy and plastic
canopy to hanging bracket. Place rounded part of slotted
hole in canopy and plastic canopy over loosened screw in
hanging bracket and push up. Twist canopy and plastic
canopy to lock. Re-insert screw that was removed and then
tighten both screws securely.
Slide canopy cover up to plastic canopy. Press up gently
but firmly on canopy cover until you hear it snap onto the
bottom of the plastic canopy. Carefully peel away the
paper wrapping around the downrod.
NOTE
: Should you need to lower the canopy and plastic
canopy for any reason, use care in lowering the canopy
and lpastic canopy over the downrod to prevent
scratching the metal surface.
*Remember that antenna for remote control receiver must
rest
outside
of hanging bracket.
8. Light Kit Assembly.
Remove 1 screw from fitter plate on underside of
motor housing and partially loosen the other 2 screws.
Connect
WHITE
wire from motor housing to
WHITE
wire from the LED light kit and
BLUE
(or
BLACK
)
wire
from motor housing to
BLACK
wire from LED light kit.
Make sure molex connections snap together
completely.
Align slotted holes in LED light kit with loosened
screws in fitter plate. Twist LED light kit to lock.
Re-insert screw that was previously removed and
securely tighten all 3 screws with a Phillips screwdriver.
Align the two holes at bottom of the plastic part of the
motor housing with the small holes located on the two
posts of the plastic shade. Gently push up on plastic
shade until it snaps completely into place.
NOTE
: Make sure all tabs have been inserted properly
for correct fit. Insert two post screws (from hardware
pack). Tighten both screws securely using small
screwdriver.
