9. Removal of Light Kit (Optional).

if you prefer to use the fan WITH the light kit.
If you wish to remove light kit from fan
to
use the fan WITHOUT the light kit, remove
3 screws from switch housing. Pull down
gently on light kit fitter.
Remove wire connector that connects
BLUE
wire from fan to
BLACK
wire from the light
kit fitter. Place wire connector that was
removed on
BLUE
wire from fan. Remove
wire connector that connects
WHITE
wire
from fan to
WHITE
wire from light kit fitter.
Place wire connector that was removed on
WHITE
wire from fan.
*Wrap each wire connector separately with
electrical tape as an extra safety measure.
Remove 3 screws from switch housing cap.
Align holes in switch housing cap with holes
in switch housing. Attach switch housing cap
to switch housing with 3 screws that were
previously removed. Attach pull chain
extension provided to fan pull chain. Custom
pull chain extension (sold separately) may
also be used.
Please proceed to Section 11 ("Testing Your
Fan") to finalize installation of the fan.
