3.2 Shatter guard
Adjust the position of the shatter guard (4) if necessary (Fig. 6).
N.B.
The shatter guard must always be fitted.
3.3 Side handle
The side handle is a supplementary grip that can be fitted onto the spindle housing in
three different positions. Screw the side handle into the threaded seat on the spindle
housing and tighten (Fig. 7).
4. Power switch
Switching on and off
Switching on:
Using your thumb, press down the back of the power switch (6) and
slide the switch forwards. To lock the switch in the
ON
position, press the front of
the switch down.
Switching off:
Press the back edge of the power switch down. It is spring-loaded and
will slide backwards and switch the motor off.
N.B.
Always keep your thumb close to the power switch so you can switch
the power tool off quickly if necessary.
