3.1 Fitting a disc
9. Press in the spindle lock button (1).
10. Remove the outer flange (3) using the spanner (8).
11. Place a disc onto the inner flange (Fig. 3).
12. Replace the outer flange (3) and tighten using the spanner (8)
(Fig. 4 & 5). Make sure that the disc is centred and tight.
13. Release the spindle lock and make sure that the disc can rotate freely.

3. Use
Important
• Disconnect the power supply to the tool before making any adjustments or repairs.
• Use only Ø 125 mm discs or wheels with a bore of 22 mm.
• Cut-off wheels must only be used for cutting (Fig. 1). Do not exert lateral pressure
onto cut-off wheels.
• For grinding (Fig. 2), only use grinding discs (depressed centre discs).
These discs are designed to withstand lateral pressure.
• Replace the grinding disc when it is worn down to Ø 85 mm.

N.B.
Before starting the angle grinder: Make sure that the grinding disc/cut-off wheel
is centred and that the outer flange (3) is screwed on tightly. Check the condition of
the disc/wheel regularly. Replace damaged or split discs/wheels.
