• Only connect the appliance to a mains socket with the mains voltage indicated on the rating plate.
• When disconnecting the power cord from the power outlet, pull only on the plug. Never pull on the cord.
• During the fi rst few minutes of the fi rst use, you may notice a little smoke and a slight smell. This is normal and will soon disappear.
• Be aware that some surfaces may become hot. Do not touch and supervise others accordingly. The unit is VERY HOT when in use. Take care to avoid contact
between the hot surface and bare skin, particularly around the ears, face and neck when in use.
INTENDED USE
Warning! Only use the device externally.
• The appliance is only intended for drying and styling human hair.
• Any improper use can be dangerous!
• Preparing the hair: Wash your hair and dry it well. Comb your hair thoroughly. Do not use hairspray or other fl ammable chemical hair care products.
• Plug in the appliance.
• Press and hold the on/off button for approx. 3 seconds to switch on the appliance. The appliance starts to heat up.
• You can press buttons “+” and “-“ to adjust the temperature from 80ºC - 230ºC by 5ºC per press. Maximum display temperature is 230ºC, which represents the
maximum temperature of the heating element. Actual maximum temperature when using this item is 200ºC.
• Please start using the appliance when the set temperature is reached.
• Please press “+” and “ –“ at the same time, in order to exchange ºC and “F .Fahrenheit degree display: 176“F-446“F. Centigrade degree display: 80ºC - 230ºC.
• Separate a section of hair to be straightened. Once the brush has heated up to your desired temperature run the brush through your sectioned hair, ensure it
runs deep through the bristles. Brush slowly to ensure maximum heat is absorbed into the hair. Straighten from the root to the end of your hair in a slow pulling
motion. While getting used to the new technology, start with small sections until you become more comfortable with the tool.
• When you are fi nishing styling, switch off the appliance, unplug the appliance and allow it to completely cool down before cleaning or storing.
CLEANING
Unplug the appliance and allow it to cool down. Care should be taken not to touch the heated part of the appliance when it is switched on or, just after it has been
turned off . ALLOW AT LEAST 30 MINUTES TO COOL DOWN BEFORE PUTTING AWAY. Use a soft, slightly damp cloth to wipe the appliance surfaces. Do not allow water
or any other liquid to get into the unit.
STORAGE
Unplug the appliance, allow to cool and store in its box or in a dry place. Never store it while it is hot or still plugged in. Never wrap the cord tightly around the
appliance. Never hang the unit by the cord. Store the cord loosely coiled. Do not put any stress on the cord where it enters the unit, as it could cause the cord to fray
and break.
